Rondina P. Muncy is a Dallas native. After attending Southern Methodist University and the University of North Texas she married and raised three children. Her genealogical pursuits began after her mother's death in 1993. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the Texas State Genealogical Society, the Utah Genealogical Association and the Dallas Genealogical Society. Rondina's specialty is solving complex genealogy problems through the use of land and court records. She also can create platted topographical maps and aerial photographs.
Facilities that she has regular access to include the Dallas Public Library, the Family History Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, the National Archives (Southwest Region) in Fort Worth, the Texas State Archives & Library, the Perry Castañeda Collection, the Texas General Land Office, and the Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin. Most research projects involve tracing ancestors to their east coast origins and a full range of resources are used through all states.
